Whether you're considering extensions or just curious about your options, this guide will walk you through the different methods, and help shed light on which approach may be the best fit for your hair, lifestyle, and goals.

Our Products

We exclusively work with Bellami Professional extensions, one of the most trusted names in the industry. Bellami hair is 100% Remy human hair, meaning the cuticle is kept intact and aligned in the same direction. This ensures the hair remains soft, tangle-resistant, long-lasting, and beautifully natural in both movement and shine.

Tape-in Extensions

Tape-in extensions are one of the most popular and versatile methods available. Ultra-thin wefts are applied by sandwiching small sections of natural hair between adhesive tapes, creating a flat, seamless finish that lies close to the scalp. The result is lightweight, comfortable, and virtually undetectable—even in ponytails and updos.

Benefits:
  • Lightweight and gentle on natural hair

  • Flat, discreet finish for a seamless blend

  • Fast application and removal process

  • Reusable with proper maintenance

  • Ideal for both length and volume

Best suited for:
  • First-time extension clients

  • Fine to medium hair types

  • Clients wanting a natural, low-maintenance look

Maintenance:

Avoid applying conditioner or oils directly to the bonds, and use an extension-safe brush, starting from the ends and working upward. Tape-ins require repositioning every 6–8 weeks. Wear time is 3–5 months (before removal and reinstallation). Estimated application time is 2–4 hours, depending on volume.

K-Tip Hair Extensions (Keratin / Fusion)

K-tip extensions are individual strands pre-bonded with keratin and applied using a heat tool. Each strand is fused to small sections of natural hair, creating a highly customized and natural-looking result with beautiful movement. Because they are applied strand-by-strand, K-tips offer one of the most undetectable finishes available.

Benefits:
  • Extremely natural movement and flexibility

  • Virtually invisible bonds

  • Long-lasting wear with minimal maintenance between visits

  • Fully customizable placement

  • Heat-style versatile (curl, straighten, wave)

Best suited for:
  • Medium to thick hair types

  • Clients wanting long-term results

  • Those seeking maximum customization and density

Maintenance:

Avoid oil-based products near bonds, and use extension-safe shampoo, conditioner, and a gentle brushing routine. K-tips require removal and reinstallation every 3–5 months.

I-Tip Hair Extensions (Cold Fusion / Micro-Link)

I-Tip hair extensions are individual strands of pre-bonded, keratin-free human hair applied using a cold fusion technique. Unlike K-Tip extensions, I-Tips require no heat, glue, or chemical bonding agents. Instead, each extension is attached by threading a small section of your natural hair through a tiny micro-link bead along with the extension strand, then securing it with a specialized tool. The result is lightweight, natural-looking hair with exceptional movement and flexibility.

Benefits:
  • No heat, glue, or chemicals, making this one of the gentlest extension methods available

  • Individual strand application creates natural movement and a seamless blend

  • Lightweight and comfortable, especially for fine to medium-density hair

  • Reusable hair can be repositioned and reinstalled multiple times with proper care

  • Ideal for adding length, volume, or both with a highly customized result

Best suited for:
  • Clients looking for a heat-free and chemical-free extension method

  • Fine to medium hair types seeking a lightweight installation

  • Clients who want to reuse their extension hair through multiple maintenance appointments

  • Those who prefer the natural movement of individual strand extensions over wefted methods

Maintenance:

With proper care, the same Bellami hair can often be reused through multiple maintenance appointments, making I-Tips an excellent long-term investment. To keep your extensions looking their best, brush gently with an extension-safe brush, avoid applying conditioner or heavy oils directly to the beads, sleep with your hair loosely braided or secured, and avoid twisting or pulling on the beads. Estimated wear time: 6–8 weeks before repositioning. Estimated application time: 2.5–4 hours.

Hand-Tied Weft Extensions

Hand-tied wefts are considered one of the most luxurious extension methods available. Ultra-thin wefts are hand-sewn onto discreet beaded rows, creating a lightweight, flexible foundation that moves naturally with the hair. This method delivers maximum fullness without bulk or visible attachment points.

Benefits:
  • Ultra-flat, seamless installation

  • No glue, tape, or heat

  • Natural movement and flow

  • Ideal for volume and length

  • Hair is reusable with proper care

Best suited for:
  • Fine or thinning hair

  • Clients wanting a luxury, high-end result

  • Those who frequently wear hair up

  • Clients prioritizing comfort and natural movement

Maintenance:

Keep rows clean and free of product buildup, and use sulfate-free, extension-safe products for longevity. Repositioning is required every 6–8 weeks. Estimated application time is 2–4 hours.

A Vital Componant: The Extension Consultation

Because hair extensions are a highly customized service and a meaningful investment in both time and budget, all extension services require a consultation prior to booking. This allows your stylist to understand your goals, assess your natural hair, determine the safest and most effective method, match your perfect shade, and provide a fully transparent quote before any installation begins. Pricing varies based on method, hair length, density, and desired outcome.

If you’re ready to transform your hair with added length, volume, and confidence, we’re here to guide you through every step.

Extension Care at Home

Proper at-home care is essential for maintaining the longevity of your extensions and protecting the health of your natural hair.

We recommend:
  • Brushing gently from ends to roots using an extension-safe brush

  • Using sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner

  • Avoiding oils or heavy products near bonds or beads

  • Sleeping with hair dry—braided or loosely tied

  • Keeping up with all maintenance appointments

  • Consultation Required
