To maximize protection from the COVID-19 Delta variant and prevent its potential transmission to others, the CDC has updated its recommendations for indoor mask usage by all in areas of substantial or high transmission, including the vaccinated.
As always, the safety of our clients, employees and community is our greatest priority. Given the nature of The LAB's services requiring extended close contact, the salon's vibrant location, and CDC recommendations,
we again require that ALL inside the salon wear a mask, including children and regardless of vaccination status, until further notice.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through this ever-changing landscape.

The LAB Client COVID Regulations
ALL inside the salon are required to wear a mask—including children, and regardless of vaccination status—until further notice.

Our complimentary beverage service is discontinued until further notice.
​
Until further notice, please do not bring non-client guests or children to your appointment. ​
In order to help us cover the cost of all required/provided safety protocols, we have implemented a $3.99 fee per client. As regulations are loosened, we will adjust the fee accordingly.

We ask for your patience and understanding during this time as we are working quickly and very diligently to be both accommodating and conscientious to your needs. Thank you!
The LAB Stylist Sanitation Regulations

All stylists are Barbicide-certified in COVID-19, with certification displayed on their stations.

Stylists will wash hands between all services and clients. The LAB will also provide hand sanitizer to be used throughout your services.

Chairs and workstations will be sanitized at the start and end of each stylist's shift. Stations will be disinfected thoroughly between each client.

All brushes, combs, clippers, shears, clips, etc. will be sanitized after each use. Please allow 5-10 min for disinfecting.

The shampoo bowls will be sprayed and wiped down with disinfectant after each use.

As always, all robes, capes, and towels will be changed out and washed after every client.

We will serve one client at a time and require extra time to sanitize stations and the salon thoroughly between guests.
